In 1996, a man named Wu opened a premium tea shop in Taiwan.
Wu’s dedication to perfection, testing his recipes 23,000 times, led to the creation of a global tea brand known for its craftsmanship. “Gong cha” translates to “tribute tea,” symbolizing Wu’s commitment to serving tea fit for royalty.
